Holding device for a shower attachment comprises a holding pole provided with a sliding part for fixing the shower attachment and preferably two fixing brackets (1) for fixing the holding pole on a wall. The fixing brackets are each formed by a quadratic body (10) having on a central axis (100) a bore (101) for a fixing screw (3). An opening (102) receiving the holding pole is provided perpendicular to the axis next to the axis in a region of the body protruding from the wall. The body has clamping devices for fixing the holding pole in different positions in the opening.
