<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and low-cost clamp capable of tightly closing and holding an incision in sclera during an operation. <P>SOLUTION: This clamp 10 for wound comprises two substantially similar halves 12. The halves 12 are simultaneously energized by a spring or elastomer band 14. Projections or needle parts 20 integrally formed with the halves 12 cause the clamp 10 to be tightly engaged on the conjunctiva or sclera around the wound.
