<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens for a short-distance optical head which solves a homogeneity problem that occurs in a surface plasmon film by coating the surface plasmon film on the bottom of an optical spot focusing surface of the existing short-distance optical head objective lens. <P>SOLUTION: A film that generates a surface plasmon effect is coated on a surface where projected beams are condensed by the objective lens for a short-distance optical head. When the projected beams hit the film to generate a surface plasmon effect, a micro aperture is formed to reduce the diameter of an optical spot, therefore increasing data storage capacity in the optical disk. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
