PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily and inexpensively measurable a noise in a short time. SOLUTION: A pattern test ring 21 is brought into pressure contact with a testing tire 30 of no pattern to be press-connected to a rotary drum 10 by moving a test ring attaching drum 20 to measure a synthetic sound level ä(A+B)+(B+C)} of the rotary drum 10 with the pattern test ring 21, the test ring attaching drum 20 is separated from the testing tire 30 to measure a noise level (A+B) of rotation of the rotary drum 10 and the testing tire 30, and then the noise level (A+B) measured when the test ring attaching drum 20 is separated from the testing tire 30 is subtracted from the synthetic sound level to obtain a noise level (B+C) caused only by the pattern test ring 21 and the testing tire 30.
