A pair of first folding lines (19) and a pair of second folding lines (20) a re formed in a crotch zone (7) of an article (1A). The pair of first folding lines (19) extends from a first leg girth side portion (11) toward a central part (7a) of the crotch zone(7) and the pair of second folding lines (20) extends from a second leg girth side portion (12) toward the central part (7 a) of the crotch zone (7). The crotch zone (7) is divided into a first zone (21 ) surrounded by the first leg girth side portion (11) and the first folding lines (19), a second zone (22) surrounded by the second leg girth side porti on (12) and the second folding lines (20), and a third zone (23) excluding the first and second zones (21, 22). First and second elastic members (24, 25) a re contractably installed in the vicinities of side edges (4a) of a core (4). T he first and second elastic members (24, 25) pass through the first and second zones (21, 22) toward leg girth portions and reach the third zone (23). In t he article (1A), the first and second zones (21, 22) are pulled inward to the l eg girth portions by contraction force of the elastic members (24, 25) to form tucks (26, 27) that project to inside leg girth openings (15).
