PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micropump and a sample treatment chip, implementing chip module with microstructure, easily controlled and stably implementing a specific characteristic, excellent in carrying force and response, thinned and repeatedly used. SOLUTION: The micropump and sample treatment chip comprise: reactant 4 housed in a reaction chamber 6 to generate predetermined pressure gas; reaction start part 5 makes the reactant 4 generate the gas; a channel 7 disposed to a pump chip 1a to guide the generated gas from the reaction chamber 6 to a communication hole 8; and a control part controlling operation of the reaction start part 5. A pressure sensor 39a is disposed to the channel through which the generated gas flows to detect pressure of the gas. A detection signal detected by the pressure sensor 39a is sent to a central control part 31, which controls the reaction start part 5 to bring the pressure close to a predetermined target value.
