PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor where plates arranged on both ends of the rotor core can be molded by the same molding die as a molding die for molding steel plates for constituting the rotor core and which can improve the incorporation workability, and to provide a motor which is equipped with this rotor. SOLUTION: This rotor is equipped with the rotor core 3 which is constituted by stacking two or more sheets of steel plates 2 having two or more insertion holes 21, 21 so that the positions of the above insertion holes 21, 21 may align with one another, and permanent magnets 1, 1which are inserted into each insertion hole 21, 21 of the rotor core 3. At both ends of the rotor core 3, plate bodies 4 and 4 have through holes 42, 42 aligning with the above insertion holes 21, 21, and sections 44, 44 ranging from the through holes 42, 42 to their peripheries are curved to the center side.
