PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector, preventing troubles associated with engagement, improving workability. SOLUTION: The waterproof connector 10 comprises a male connector 20 and a female connector 30. The male connector 20 comprises a cylinder part 22 for housing a tab terminal and being inserted in the female connector 30. The cylinder part 22 comprises a projecting part 23 for being latched by the female connector 30 and a rib projection 25 parallel to the insertion direction to the female connector 30. The rib projection 25 has a slant surface 26 of an inclined shape formed at the tip part in the insertion direction to the female connector 30. The female connector 30 comprises a holder part 33 with a side spacer 31 inserted in the holder part 33, for housing, positioning and holding a tab receiving terminal, a hood part 34 with a side spacer insertion hole 39 formed on the side part, and a flexible engaging arm 38 for latching the projecting part 23 of the male connector 20.
