PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously measure a muscle hardness of an object to be measured in an arbitrary part of the limb of a rehabilitation trainee in real time. SOLUTION: The muscle hardness meter 12 is equipped with a main needle 3, a linear scale 4, an encoder module 5, a sub-cylinder 7, a switch 11 and a memory function. The meter is equipped with an actuator 9 for pressing the main needle 3 and the sub-cylinder 7 to the object 1 to be measured, a data converting part 10 for converting a displacement quantity in the main needle 3 to a muscle hardness data in an arithmetic device 8 and a battery 13, and continuously measures the muscle hardness of the object 1 to be measured in real time, and outputs the muscle hardness data to an external instrument.
