<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner force sense presenting device and an image correcting method for properly displaying a site for presenting an inner force sense according to a virtual space image by correcting the virtual space image under consideration of the thickness of a part for presenting the inner force sense. <P>SOLUTION: In this inner force sense presenting device and an image correcting method, each joint angle of an inner force sense presenting means when the hand and fingers of a user are present at reference attitudes and real extracting positions is detected by an encoder arranged at each joint part (steps S301, S303), and the finger tip positions of the user in those respective attitudes are calculated on the basis of the detection data (steps S302, S304), and the joint angle at a virtual extracting position is calculated, and the deviation value of the joint angle between the real extracting position and the virtual extracting position is calculated (a step S307).
