<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet rolling mill and a method for controlling shape of a sheet capable of controlling the shape over a wide range of width of sheet from narrow width of wide width, and capable of cost reduction, and improving productivity. SOLUTION: Relating to a sheet rolling mill 10, at least a work roll 20 of a pair of work rolls is supported by separation backup rolls 30, 31 each separated in not less than three parts, and plural separation backup roll units consisting of the separation backup rolls 30, 31 and further a screw down device, a loading detecting device, and a screw down position detecting device provided respectively to each of the separation backup rolls are each independently fixed respectively to an inner housing 12. The sheet rolling mill 10 is equipped with a work roll bending device 25 to give bending force on upper and lower work rolls 20, 21.</p> |
