PURPOSE: A system for processing a DNS(Domain Name Server) message on a complex network is provided to generate/transmit an IPv4/IPv6(Internet Protocol version) query to an external destination node and receive a response in order to smoothly communication with the external destination node by using a domain name on the complex network coexisting an IPv4 network and an IPv6 network. CONSTITUTION: An internal DNS server(430) judges whether the destination node for the query of a source node(410) is the internal or the external destination node. In case of the external destination node, an external DNS server(440) transmits the source query of an IPv4/IPv6 type received from the source node to the external destination node and receives the response. An NAT(Network Address Translation)(420) generates/transmits the query of the IPv4/IPv6 type to the internal DNS server and confirms the response of a destination node for the query. If the type of the response is identical with the source query, the NAT transmits the response to the source node. If not, the response is converted into the same type as the query of the source node and is transmitted to the source node.
