PURPOSE: A TV transceiving system using a wireless LAN and a method therefor are provided to apply a wireless LAN to a server and a client, and to comprise one TV decoder in the server, so that plural clients can use the TV decoder for mobile functions without another TV decoder. CONSTITUTION: A TV decoder receives TV data signals being transmitted externally, decodes the received signals into audio/video signals, and transmits the decoded audio/video signals. A server(301) receives the TV data signals decoded into the audio/video signals, and wirelessly transmits the received TV data signals. A client receives the TV data signals transmitted from the server(301). The TV decoder comprises as follows. A TV tuner(307) receives TV signals. An A/V decoder(308) decodes the TV signals into audio/video signals. The first USB(310) encodes the audio/video signals into USB signals, and transmits the USB signals to the server(301).
