METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DEPTH OF USER INTERFACE IN HOME NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for controlling the depth of a user interface in a home network is provided to accurately set control for a device to be controlled in a user interface according to the current state of the device to be controlled. CONSTITUTION: A device for control receives state change report packets transmitted from a device to be controlled through an interface part and a home network(500). It is judged whether the current state of the device to be controlled is changed into an operation-off state from an operation-on state(502). If so, the device for control judges whether the current depth of the user interface is in two stages(504). If so, the device for control changes the depth of the user interface into one stage(506). The user interface is updated into the changed depth(508).
