FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. ^ SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with manufacturing intraocular implants, IOL, in particular, and contact lens, as well. The suggested optically transparent polymeric material contains compounds at the following ratio of weights: collagen 0.00001-20, water-soluble ethylene unsaturated compounds 0.00001-99.9, water-insoluble ethylene unsaturated compounds 0.001-99.9, binding agent 0-10, UV-adsorber 0.00001-10.
