The head has blades assembled in a hub (5) by an intermediate articulation yoke (6) for their natural movement with respect to a rotor plane against compression resistance of an elastic mass (12) supported against ends of the blades and the hub. The blade pitch is achieved by placing counterweights (11) against the mass compressed between a base carried by a linking arm of the blades and plate operated by an intermediate rod.
