PURPOSE: A controller adopting an inverse matrix algorithm is provided to produce an inverse matrix by changing positions of rows with those of columns in processing large sized data like geographic data so that it reduces a calculation complexity. CONSTITUTION: The device changes positions of rows with those of columns in a matrix A in obtaining an inverse matrix. If the changed matrix is called A', the number of non-zero elements in the matrix A is the same as that of non-zero elements in the changed matrix A'. So in processing an inverse matrix, the number of the non-zero elements gets reduced rather than a conventional scheme. Accordingly a storage and a processing time can be reduced.
