PURPOSE: An encapsulation method is provided to achieve improved yield rate and display quality by removing or reducing line defects caused during manufacture of panel. CONSTITUTION: An encapsulation method comprises a step of lowering the pressure in a chamber(70) prior to the assembly of a substrate(60) and an encapsulating plate(10); a step of assembling the substrate and the encapsulating plate by using an adhesive(12) at the state where the pressure in the chamber is lowered; and a step of solidifying the adhesive applied between the substrate and the encapsulating plate at the state where the pressure in the chamber is lowered. The pressure in the chamber is same as or lower than the atmospheric pressure.
