The engine has an exhaust gas turbocharger and exhaust feedback arrangement with an exhaust gas turbine in the exhaust system and a compressor in the induction tract, two flow channels via which gas is fed to the turbine wheel and an exhaust gas feedback line between one channel and the induction tract. An asymmetry factor defines the ratio of the turbine flow channel sizes depending on the total stroke volume of the combustion engine. The engine (1) has an exhaust gas turbocharger (2) and exhaust feedback arrangement (23) with an exhaust gas turbine (3) in the exhaust system (4) and a compressor (5) in the induction tract (6). The turbine has at least two flow channels (10,11) via which gas is fed to the turbine wheel (9). There is an exhaust gas feedback line (24) between one channel and the induction tract. An asymmetry factor defines the ratio of the sizes of the exhaust gas turbine flow channels depending on the total stroke volume of the internal combustion engine.
