PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of the data on a disk by inhibiting a writing operation other than a normal writing operation under a high temperature environment exceeding a prescribed value. SOLUTION: A CPU 10 determines whether the temperature environment of a disk drive is in a high temperature state exceeding a prescribed value or not based on a temperature detected value from a temperature sensor 12.
