A gas-tight antistatic laminate (I) is prepared from a support textile having a gas-tight soft elastomeric film applied to at least one face whereby the textile is a treated antistatic textile. Independent claims are included for: (1) a respirator tank prepared from the laminate (I) having two polyurethane -ether/polyurethane ester coextrusion films bonded to each other in the region of the connection tubes; (2) a process for the production of the laminate (I) by coextrusion of a film of polyurethane-ether and polyurethane-ester onto at least one side of a textile sheet such that the sheet is in contact with the polyurethane-ester side, heating of the resulting layers in a calendering station such that the polyurethane-ester layer begins to melt and the laminate is pressed together whereby the polyurethane ester layer is pressed into the textile sheet but not the polyurethane ether layer, and cooling of the resulting laminate and; (3) a process for the production of the laminate (I) by coextrusion of a film of polyurethane-ether and polyurethane ester, lamination with a textile sheet using a heated drum whereby the lower m.pt. polyurethane ester layer is pressed into the textile layer but not the polyurethane ether layer and the resulting laminate is cooled.
