PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to keep saving money in a savings box 1 while enjoying the money-saving and to always confirm the current amount of savings saved in the money box. SOLUTION: The savings box 1 comprises a square table 9 and a writing tool 13. The square table 9 is disposed on the surface of a slotted money amount confirmation seal 7 pasted on the outer surface of the savings box 1. A mark is put in each square of the square table 9 in the direction of row or in the direction of column according to the number of prescribed coins or bills slotted in the savings box 1. The numeric figure indicating the total amount of money is written at the end of the squares in the direction of row or in the direction of column so that the total amount of money can be confirmed with marks put in the squares to the end in the direction of row or in the direction of column. Further, a writing tool holder 11 is pasted to the savings box 1, and a writing tool used for putting the marks is held at the writing tool holder 11. The square table 9 is painted with a writing tool 13 according to symbols on the square table 9 whenever money is slotted in the savings box 1, and an illustration or pattern, etc. is gradually completed in the square table 9 while the amount of slotted money can be confirmed by referring to the square table 9.
