PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user of a multimode communication terminal device to carry out comfortable communication when the user moves between areas using different communication systems without giving unnatural feeling to the user. SOLUTION: Soft handover between the different communication systems is carried out by a handover manager 16 built into a control unit 14, and when the communication system is switched, the control unit 14 controls a switch SW1 so that it does not switch a speaker 500 and a receiver 502 as voice output means and ensures the same voice communication conditions before and after the handover.
