PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when a program is selected by the preference of a viewer itself or using only a selection history, because a range of selected programs tends to be a converging direction, it results in the selection of undifferentiated programs. SOLUTION: Disclosed herein are a program viewing notice apparatus whereby a viewer can inform other party about information with respect to programs desirably recommended by the viewer and a program viewing receiver capable of viewing and video recording a program on the basis of the notice. Further, disclosed herein is a sender grouping apparatus for grouping sender viewers depending on contents of e.g., recommended programs on the basis of the notice from the viewers.
