PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens driving device in which sensitivity for position control can be improved by improving the magnetic effects without increasing the size of a device. SOLUTION: The objective lens driving device is provided with a lens holder 2 holding an objective lens 1 between opposing one pair of magnets 6a and 6b, wherein a focusing coil 3 and tracking coils 4a, 4b are attached to the lens holder 2. In the objective lens driving device, the focusing coil 3 is provided in the lens holder 2 at its side face being parallel to an optical axis of the objective lens 1, the tracking coils 4a, 4b are provided at positions opposite to the magnets 6a, 6b respectively. Further, auxiliary yokes 9a, 9b corresponding to the magnets 6a, 6b respectively are arranged at positions being opposite side to the objective lens 1 with the focusing coil 3 in between, also at positions nearer to the optical axis of the objective lens 1 than the focusing coil 3 and the tracking coils 4a, 4b.
