PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To temporarily set the angle of a hinge arm freely for easy assembly of a hinge device. SOLUTION: Between an annular section and a fixed cam of the hinge arm, a stopper member is provided for avoiding fitting of a recess in the annular section with a protrusion section of the fixed cam. In assembling the hinge device on a display section or a body, a stopper member is set so as to prevent the fitting and, after the assembly, the stopper is slid so as to permit the fitting.
