PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyoxymethylene resin composition that has excellent heat stability, excellent molding characteristics (mold release properties and molding cycle) as well as improved discoloration during the melt retention in the molding machine. SOLUTION: This polyoxymethylene resin composition is produced by adding (a) 0.01-3.0 wt.%, based on the resin composition, of a sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant, (b) 0.01-1.0 wt.%, based on the composition, of compounds selected from oxides of alkaline-earth metals and carboxylate salts, and (c) 0.01-1.0 wt.%, based on the same, of an ester from higher fatty acid of 8-29 carbon atoms and a polyhydric alcohol selected from propylene glycol, trimethylolpropane and pentaerythritol to a polyoxymethylene resin.
