<p>A threshing element for an axial flow combine comprising a chromium steel alloy rasp bar (50). The rasp bar is cast of chromium-moly white cast iron with an inclined front face (81) with a slope of about 52.5 degrees. The cast iron contains 18 % to 23 % chromium.
