PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder molding device and a method for manufacturing a compact which do not reduce production efficiency and can uniformize density of the compact in filling powder into a die cavity. SOLUTION: An opening is formed in the bottom surface of a powder feed box 4 and a hose 8 to feed powder is connected to the backside. Using the powder box which moves back and forth, and a porous body 5 composed of large holes and a small holes having different hole areas in the backside of the opening of the powder feed box, powder feeding is executed.
