Interference suppression method for radio communications terminal of radio communications system with suppression method dependent on synchronization match between neighbouring base stations

The interference suppression method uses monitoring of synchronization signals of base stations (BTS2-BTS7) of neighbouring radio cells (FZ2-FZ7) by a radio communications terminal (TN1) located within a radio cell (FZ1) serviced by a first base station (BTS1) and detection of the temporal variations between these synchronization signals and the synchronization signal of the first base station. The interference suppression method at the radio communications terminal is selected in dependence on the indicated synchronization match.
