PURPOSE: An insulating cover of a pipe connection is provided to protect the pipe connection and by forming a compressed wool insulating material and a metal material. CONSTITUTION: A cover to shield in the outer face of a compressed wool insulating material is a metal cover. In a forming frame(10) to form a T-bow insulating cover of a pipe connection insulating cover, a semi-cylindrical forming pipe(11) is formed in a semi-circular T-pipe. An embedded forming pipe(15) to be loaded inside the semi-circular T-pipe is a T-shaped forming pipe by forming a common pipe in a T-shape. The embedded forming pipe is loaded inside the forming frame. Oil is spread in the inner face of the forming frame and the outer face of the embedded forming pipe. A wool is filled between the inner face of the forming frame and the embedded forming pipe. The forming frame is sintered by heating. The forming frame is cooled by withdrawing from a boiler after solidifying the wool. The embedded forming pipe and the compressed wool insulating material are withdrawn from the forming frame. A pipe connection insulating cover is formed by covering the metal cover outside the compressed wool insulating material. Thereby, the insulating efficiency is increased by increasing the space securing ratio inside the wool.
