PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the versatility of a deflection yoke used for a CRT; and to reduce a load on deflection circuit design. SOLUTION: Main deflecting coils L1, L2 of a deflection yoke 2 are connected in parallel with each other, and a horizontal deflection voltage is applied to the main deflection coils L1, L2. Deflection sensitivity regulation coils L1', L2' are connected in parallel with the deflection coils L1, L2 respectively via a variable resistor VR. A total magnetic flux generated by the main deflection coils and the deflection sensitivity regulation coils can be changed by changing the resistance value of the variable resistor VR.
