PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera having music reproducing function for photographing during reproducing of music, and acquiring both music information, such as musical piece names, and information necessary for taking photographs, at the same time. SOLUTION: The camera body is equipped with a display unit 1 (sign 64A) for displaying an object image and a display unit 2 (sign 64B) for displaying music information. When the camera is switched to music reproduction mode, a music file recorded in a memory card becomes operable, and at the same time, CCD can be operated, and the object image is displayed on the display unit 1 and the music information is displayed on the display unit 2. When a release button is half depressed in operation during reproduction of the music, the photographing information, rather than the music information, is displayed on the display unit 2. While enjoying music during the reproduction of the music, a photographing person can take a picture and can surely acquire information on the object image and music, even when shooting during the reproduction of music, without any information loss.
