PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing method which can prevent damage to an article to be packed, without reference to the size of the article to be packed, and can reduce the cost of a packing material. SOLUTION: This packing method uses a pallet 2 which can be loaded with the article CP to be packed, and an article fixing member 4 for making a member for fixing the article CP on the pallet 2 kept in an unmovable state. The packing method is characterized as follows: the member 4 is extractably provided by being housed in a storage part 2A preprovided in the pallet 2; and the article CP is packed through a procedure wherein the article CP is fixed on the pallet 2 in the unmovable state by extracting the member 4 from the pallet 2 and passing it around the article CP in the packing of the article CP.
