PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a crossing control system for automatically controlling a crossing accompanied with passage of a car for maintenance without stopping the car for maintenance at the time of a manual operation for starting and stopping a crossing control device by an occupant for the car for maintenance, a safe recognizing operation accompanied with it, and passage of the crossing of the car for maintenance. SOLUTION: Electric waves are transmitted from a terrestrial device 3 arranged adjacent to a crossing at constant intervals, and a distance from a car 1 for maintenance is measured on the basis of answer from an on-car device 2 of the car 1 for maintenance, so as to detect entry and detachment of the car 1 for maintenance in a predetermined crossing securing facility working section and instruct it to a crossing control device 4. While the car 1 for maintenance enters the crossing securing facility working section, the crossing securing facility of a crossing alarm 7 and a crossing gate 8 is actuated.
