PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly improve convenience in compositing image data obtained from photographing and data to be composed to obtain composite image data .

SOLUTION: A digital camera comprises a lens optical system 12 for photographing an image; a CCD 13; a calendar data storage unit 31 storing a plurality of calendar data which differ in format; a key input unit 27 having a key for selecting data of an arbitrary format from the plurality of stored calendar data; and a control unit 22 for composing the calendar data of a selected format with the image data obtained by the CCD 13.
