<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device which can position the optical components in an optical path length direction with high accuracy and efficiently and its assembling method. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device is equipped with a housing 10, optical components which are mounted in the housing 10 and which can perform irradiation with a laser beam and/or can detect the laser beam and a mounting means which is prepared in optical component mounting position of the housing 10 and which makes the optical components to be mounted directly in the housing 10. The mounting means is equipped with an elastic shock absorber 14 which protects end part elements of the laser beam irradiation side and/or the laser beam receiving side of the optical components at the time of mounting optical components in the housing 10 and at the time of the positioning of the components in an optical length direction (Z direction). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
