<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head that can prevent the deviation of an optical axis caused by the expansion/contraction due to the temperature change of a base mounting an optical element thereon. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical head device 1, two positioning surfaces 36, 37 orthogonally crossing a sensor lens mounting part 35 of the base 3 are formed in parallel to the optical axis of a photodetector 9 and the sensor lens 17, and also the sensor lens 17 is retained by a lens holder 20 having a linear expansion coefficient equivalent to that of a material for constituting the base 3, then two mounting surfaces 21, 22 of the lens holder 20 are made to abut respectively on the two positioning surfaces 36, 37 of the sensor lens mounting part 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
