PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapping sound inspection device for tunnel covering concrete which enables the enhancement of inspection precision and the easy avoidance of an obstacle. SOLUTION: The tapping sound inspection device for tunnel covering concrete is equipped with the post mounted on a running body axially running through a tunnel, the arm which is mounted on the upper end of the post in the vicinity of one end part thereof through the horizontal arm shaft crossing the axial direction of the tunnel at a right angle and energized at the other end part thereof by an energizing means so as to approach the surface of tunnel covering concrete, the first shaft supported on the other end part of the arm in parallel to the arm shaft, the second support shaft supported on the intermediate part of the first support shaft so as to pierce through the intermediate part in the direction crossing the first support shaft, the support plates mounted on both end parts of the second support shaft so as to extend in parallel to the second shaft, the interval holding wheels mounted on the support plates in two parallel rows so as to hold the second support shaft on both sides to tumble on the surface of the concrete and one hammer mounted on the support positioned between both rows of the interval holding wheels to strike the surface of the concrete.
