PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent product in which a detergent is thrown into an automatic tableware washing chamber without making the hands and a container dirty and the detergent is quickly dissolved in the chamber to sufficiently exhibit detergency and a detergent product suitable for a use method for enhancing washing effect and to provide a washing method. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent product for an automatic tableware washer is obtained by packing a liquid detergent composition which comprises (a) 0.01-20 mass % of a surfactant, (b) 0.01-20 mass % of a sequestering agent, (c) 0.01-10 mass % of an enzyme and (d) 0.01-20 mass % of a thixotropic thickener and has 1-5,000 mPa s (25°C) viscosity into a trigger spray type container.
