PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel compound used for integrating a labelling into nucleic acid. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a compound containing a mannitol moiety or a glucitol moiety, especially a specific compound having a mannitol moiety or a glucitol moiety and usable for forming an oligomer compound. The invention relates to the use of the oligomer compound for hybridization and as a probe. A detection method for a nucleic acid in a sample by using the oligomer compound is also provided.
