PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the construction time required for temporary earth retaining work, shorten the time for recovery work of the temporary earth retaining and to repeatedly use recovered rod materials. SOLUTION: When the rod material 1 of a bearing pile A is driven in a prescribed position, and the side end parts of plywood P, or temporary earth retaining plates, are pushed in clearances between two opposed retaining plates 2 and 2 and between retaining plates 21 and 21 constituting retaining grooves, the retaining plates can erects them by retaining the side end parts of the plywood.
