PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long fiber-reinforced resin pellet with more enhanced impact resistance and to provide a molded article with more enhanced impact resistance. SOLUTION: The pellet comprises the long length fibers for reinforcing, a polypropylene resin, and a modified polyolefin resin (C), wherein the total length of the pellet is 2-100 mm, the weight ratio of the propylene resin and the modified polyolefin resin is 99.9/0.1-60/40, the melt flow rate of the modified polyolefin resin is 70-100 g/10 min, the weight average fiber length of the reinforcing fiber contained in the pellet and the length of the pellet is close to equal, the reinforcing fibers are arranged as parallel to each other, the propylene resin comprises propylene homopolymer sections and propylene-ethylene copolymer sections, the polypropylene homopolymer sections has isotactic pentad fraction≥0.98 and the content of the copolymer section is 10-40 wt.%, and the molded article is obtained by molding the pellet.
