PURPOSE:To facilitate connection to an equipment to be tested, the input of the test information, and the decision of the test result by connecting a test subject equipment using a microprocessor to a personal computer via an LAN. CONSTITUTION:A personal computer 11 stores an LAN control program, the program of the test subject equipment itself using a microprogram, and a test program of the equipment into an external memory. When the test subject equipment is tested, the computer 11 and the test subject equipments 12 are connected to an LAN cable 13. Then the LAN address of the equipment 12 is designated by the computer 11. The program of the equipment 12 is transmitted from the computer 11 and at the same time and the test items are selected. Then a test request is sent to the equipment 12. Receiving the test request, the equipment 12 carries out a test and sends the test result to the computer 11 via the cable 13. Thus it is possible to facilitate the connection to the equipment 12, the input of the test information, and the decision of the test result respectively. |
