PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To machine a dynamic pressure groove of a flange and a shaft center hole being a reference face of the flange, accurately and at low costs, to improve productivity. SOLUTION: In impressing a thrust dynamic pressure groove on a flange F with an upper and a lower mold, the upper mold 2 and the lower mold 1 having a molding projection parts 3u, 3d are used to impress a flange material in a sealed dq state with an outside diameter restriction plate 5 arranged on the periphery and a pin 4 arranged at the shaft center hole Fc, at a first press step, and the upper mold and the lower mold, which have a straightening surface comprising a plane surface perpendicular to the pressing direction, are used to compress the flange without restricting the outside diameter part, thereby correcting the flange thickness and the flatness of the dynamic pressure groove forming surface, at a second press step.
