<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna, preferably for use in a reader/writer unit, etc. for a non-contact IC card, by improving the communication characteristic by reducing the decomponents in the loop pattern. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna 10 having a laminated conductor patterns 14 of a loop shape on a substrate 12 is provided with a through-hole 20, penetrating the substrate 12 in the thickness direction along with the inner circumference edge of the conductor patterns 14.
