PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods which make it easy to acquire an electronic watermark-embedded image using an electronic watermark technique or information on electronic watermarks without opening the technique to the public, and which can be employed without knowing the technique. SOLUTION: These methods include a method of printing an electronic watermark-embedded image which comprises a process for receiving an original image on a network, a process for embedding an electronic watermark in the received image and creating an electronic watermark-embedded image, and a process for printing using the image. The methods also comprise a process for receiving a transmitted image to be analyzed via the network, a process for analyzing electronic watermark information on the received image to be analyzed and retrieving the information, and a process for transmitting the information to a person asking the analysis via the network.
