PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic partition door apparatus for a rolling stock which, when an automatic partition door apparatus for a rolling stock has detected operation of a door cock used for opening/closing an entrance door installed on a platform toward a door opening side, a person who has operated the door cock is kept on the platform side. SOLUTION: Upon the operation of a door cock 7 on an entrance door opening side (step S1), when this operation has been detected by an automatic partition door apparatus 6 for a rolling stock adjacent to the platform with the door cock 7 (step S2), a control unit 1 instructs a drive part 2 to close a partition door 3 (step S3). The drive part 2 closes the partition door 3 to hold the closed state. When a closed state holding release condition has been established (when a passenger room side human body detection sensor has detected a person having accessed to the partition door) (step S4), the holding of the closed state is released (step S5).
