PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visor for an automobile that can be easily mounted to a vehicle, prevent the displacement of a mounting position, reduces occurrence of sinking in a vehicle abutting section in molding an outer peripheral molding, and has high yielding in manufacturing. SOLUTION: The outer peripheral molding 6a is mounted to the peripheral edge on the front side of the body while covering a tongue piece of the body of the sunroof visor. In the molding, a cross section is formed in a substantially trapezoidal shape, the short side on the upside has a moderate curve shape, a grappling section 12a having a U-shaped cross section is provided in a slightly upside of the center of the backward long side, and a coating section 14a formed so as to be thin toward the tip is projected on the forward long side in a pendant state tiltingly in front of the vehicle abutting section 7a. A groove 15a is continuously formed in the vehicle abutting section 7a in the longitudinal direction of the outer peripheral molding 6a and over the entire length of the outer peripheral molding 6a.
