PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire information detection device in which a high degree of operation is unnecessary while a sensor fitted to a tire side has a battery-less structure, the sensor is miniaturized, and the configuration of the sensor is simplified. SOLUTION: The tire information detection device 1 comprises a responder 2 which is fitted to each wheel 4 and has a surface acoustic wave element to sense the change of state of a tire 5 as a change in the propagation characteristic of the surface acoustic wave and an antenna 23 connected thereto, and a signal generator/processor 3 which is fitted to the vehicle body 6 side of a vehicle to transmit the drive signal to the responder 2, receive the response signal from the responder 2, and extract tire information. A pneumatic sensor can be constituted by a simple configuration at a low cost, and pneumatic pressure, a tire temperature, the number of rollings of the tire or the like can be simultaneously detected by one responder 2.
